As an avid athlete, the spirit of sport and the dedication needed to excel at any physical level captivates me. During my first undergraduate exercise science class things ‘clicked’, leading to earning a masters degree in Kinesiology. After spending over 3 years as a personal trainer, group fitness instructor, and full-time clinical exercise physiologist at the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab, I knew pursuing a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree would further my knowledge and open up more opportunities to grow in this field. I have found a niche in combining my love of sport with my intense curiosity of the science of the human body, and use these clinically to help others persevere and achieve their health and fitness goals –from basic daily living to those of the athlete.

I believe…

  • In supporting and uplifting everyone on their fitness journey
  • In the beauty of our individual stories
  • In the strength of the body, mind and soul, and the undeniable power of the human spirit
  • In building community, spreading positivity and passionately living each and every day
  • In holistic coaching rooted in science (anatomy, exercise physiology, sports psychology, nutrition) that balances the rigors of training with the realities of life to create individualized plans designed to discover the athlete within
  • In the joys of running, laughing and community
  • In Running Grateful
  • In the chance to RunYourDays
